Pedestrian_Made Wooden Spoons and Spatulas

Each wooden spoon and / or spatula is a one-of-a-kind piece that has been made by hand and is designed to be used for cooking and / or serving.

These spoons and spatulas are finished with one or two coats of food-grade flax seed oil, but will still pick up color from whatever they are used to cook, and will develop a patina over time. Not much maintenance is needed, but I would recommend hand washing and drying after each use. Do not wash in the dishwasher.

If you would like restore a bit of luster to the spoon you can occasionally oil it with flax seed oil. You can also sand the utensil a bit if the wood grain raises over time.
