6” high-carbon Nakiri-style steel blade with 4 3/4” spalted oak (I think) handle and G-10 liners. 2 ” deep at heel. The blade has a forced patina which will change with use. Includes wooden travel sheath. For kitchen use - a very fine edge profiled for slicing meat and vegetables - not bone! 163 grams.
